About Shekhawati Institute of Nursing
Shekhawati Institute of Nursing, established in 2025 at Jaipur Road, Sikar, Rajasthan, is a premier institution dedicated to excellence in nursing education, clinical training, and healthcare services. The institute is affiliated with the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur and the Rajasthan Nursing Council (RNC), Jaipur.
The institute offers a four-year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Nursing program with an approved annual intake of 60 students. The curriculum is designed to combine academic excellence with practical clinical experience, enabling students to develop the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required in today's dynamic healthcare environment.
Spread across a 32,000-square-meter campus, the college provides a modern and student-friendly learning environment. The campus features spacious, well-ventilated, air-conditioned classrooms equipped with advanced teaching aids, state-of-the-art nursing laboratories, and a well-stocked library containing more than 3,200 books, journals, reference materials, and over 100 educational CDs and digital learning resources to support academic and research activities.
The institute offers separate, secure hostel facilities for male and female students with comfortable accommodation, nutritious meals, 24-hour electricity and water supply, Wi-Fi connectivity, medical assistance, and a safe living environment. Additional campus facilities include a cafeteria, sports and recreational facilities, an auditorium for academic and cultural events, and a well-equipped gymnasium to promote students' overall health and well-being.
For clinical education and practical training, students gain hands-on experience at Gurukul Hospital, the institute's parent hospital. The 100-bed multi-specialty hospital provides comprehensive clinical exposure across various medical and surgical specialties, enabling students to integrate theoretical knowledge with real-world patient care under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals.
